Thomas first joined Glovo as a Partner Operations Manager for Chile. Together with his team, he expanded our business covering the most important demand points in the country, not only sealing key business exclusivities but most importantly, adding great value to our Partners’ experience. After 6 months in Chile, he accepted an offer to relocate to our HQ in Barcelona and is now our Global Projects Manager. Rosario joined Glovo 2 years ago, as a Recruiter in a team of fewer than 5 people, to help both with Business and Tech recruitment, from our LATAM HQ. After 3 months, when she thought things couldn´t be more exciting as we were launching 1 city every 2 days, she was offered a position in Glovo’s HQ in Barcelona as our Senior Tech Recruiter. She loves learning new skills and tackling new challenges, such as having to build a team of 300 engineers from the 30 we had at the time. The tech recruitment team grew from 3 to 20 people in a couple of months and the engineering team scaled massively as well. Now, after her hard work and dedication, she got promoted to Tech Recruitment Team Lead.

Working at Glovo has been a great adventure, and everyday is a chance to learn something new. While setting up Glovo in Kenya, one of the greatest challenges we faced was coming up with innovative ideas of reducing the cash in circulation for Kenya, whose operation is cash driven unlike other markets. I led the team in setting up mobile money options for the app, which was a new concept in Glovo. It has been amazing to see us grow into this sweet spot whereby there’s just enough cash in circulation. It is such exciting challenges that make it an adventure to work at Glovo.
