Glovo introduces a new ‘Discovery Wall’, customer reviews and pre-built baskets with ‘Fast Track’ to reinvent everyday shopping
- The tech company launches the new Discovery Wall, a new multi-category space designed to inspire undecided customers by merging food and Q-Commerce verticals as a first of its kind solution.
- Verified customer reviews and photos bring real community recommendations into the app.
- “Fast Track” reduces digital grocery shopping effort with occasion-based lists that build baskets in seconds.
Barcelona, 29 January 2026. Glovo has announced a new wave of product innovations aimed at making discovery easier, more trustworthy and faster across all categories. The update introduces a new ‘Discovery Wall,’ the first of its kind dedicated surface for inspiration, alongside verified customer reviews with photos, and Fast Track, a new way to shop groceries through ready-made, occasion-based baskets.
Oscar Pierre, CEO at Glovo, said: “We’re evolving from an app people used to order whatever they want in their cities, to a destination where you can explore, be inspired, find what you need and decide with confidence. The new features bring together community, AI powered personalization, and speed to make every order feel easier while we keep betting on social and community features to make the app more human and connected to every local community where we operate.”
The Discovery Wall: a new home for inspiration
Glovo is creating a dedicated tab designed specifically for moments when customers don’t yet know what to order. For the first time, Glovo is merging the food and Q-commerce verticals, combining restaurants, groceries and retail together in one dynamic space that prioritizes quality content and relevant recommendations.
Instead of endless listings, customers will find evolving collections such as “Trending right now”, "Hot & highly-rated", “Loved by locals”, “Budget Friendly”, or “Fine dining”. These carousels adapt in real time based on what is popular in the community and each customer's context.
By separating exploration from routine reordering, the Discovery Wall removes the frustration of choice overload and helps customers confidently discover new local businesses across every Glovo vertical.
Real voices: verified reviews and photos
Glovo is introducing a new User-Generated Content experience that allows customers to leave written reviews and upload photos of the products they ordered.
Feedback is more detailed than ever: customers can rate individual products with a thumbs up or down, while restaurant and delivery experiences are scored separately so partner ratings reflect food quality alone. Restaurants or stores get a score that shows the percentage of positive opinions customers have written about them.
To make insights easier to digest, an AI-powered summary highlights the most loved dishes and recurring highlighted elements from real reviews. Customers can also choose whether their opinions are shared with the whole community or only with friends, keeping privacy in their hands. Only customers with a verified delivered order can contribute, ensuring authenticity and trust. All the reviews are moderated to avoid any kind of content that doesn’t fit privacy standards or Glovo's guidelines.
‘Fast Track’: grocery shopping made effortless
Building a grocery basket often means repeating the same searches again and again. Fast Track changes this by offering pre-built lists tailored to specific occasions such as “Sunday BBQ,” “Movie Night,” or “Weekly Basics.”
Inside each list, customers see product options for every item on a single page, allowing them to complete large baskets in seconds while still choosing their preferred brands and prices. The feature not only saves time but also helps customers discover new grocery stores that fit their needs for a particular moment.
Connie Kwok, VP of Q-Commerce at Glovo, stated: “The future of digital grocery shopping lies in breaking today’s frictions. We are evolving the experience from a manual task into an intuitive seamless journey. ‘Fast Track’ isn’t just about saving time; it’s about anticipating the customer’s needs and providing a curated experience that makes multi-item shopping as easy as ordering a pizza.”
This latest round of updates marks the next chapter in a roadmap that began in late 2024, when Glovo made a bet on integrating social features into the customer experience. The new features are already being rolled out across the 22 countries and more than 1,800 cities where Glovo operates, reinforcing the company’s ambition to build the most innovative multi-category app in the world.
