Delivering smiles to Mully Children’s Home

In late November 2019, the Kenya team paid a visit to Mully Children’s Home to spend the day with them as they gifted donations and funds raised by staff doing Glovo Cares. The team collectively managed to do 163 orders, meaning over €2,400 was collected.

The main highlights of the day were entertainment by the super talented choir of MCH and a session during which Glovo staff served refreshments to the children before they received early Christmas gifts and donated items. A meeting with the founders of the Home and a vote of thanks from the head students was a befitting ending to a day the Kenya team will hold dear.

Why was Mully Children’s Home selected from the long list of organizations in need? One of our staff members, Albanus Muindi – Finance Associate in Kenya, actually went through the Home. So it was an easy decision for the team to make and Kenyan staff were all too eager to deliver smiles to the children. Founded in 1989 by Dr. Charles M. Mulli, MCH is Christian charitable organization making a difference in the lives of thousands of needy children through rescue, holistic rehabilitation and reintegration back into society.
