Easier Mobile Phone Recharging for Couriers

Glovo is partnering in Milan with the start-up Caricami to offer Glovers the possibility to charge their mobile phone while they are delivering. Caricami manages a network of docking stations, located in several partner restaurants, through which mobile phone chargers are made available to people who need to move from one place to another. The chargers can therefore be rented and later left at another station. Glovo offers riders collaborating with the platform 4 hours a week of free rental of these devices, allowing them to keep on delivering even if their battery is running out.

The partnership is also aimed at presenting the service to Glovo partner restaurants and shops. The presence of such a station can be an additional service offered to customers, leading them to stay for a meal or a coffee after they have returned the chargers.
