Glovo & the Ronald McDonald Foundation

We’ve joined the Ronald McDonald House Charities effort in Portugal to contribute to food delivery to children who are in hospital, and their families. Thanks to this, Glovo users in Portugal can donate money to the Foundation through the app.

Due to Coronavirus, volunteer work that involved preparing and donating food has had to be suspended. That’s why, through this collaboration, we’re aiming to offer our services to be able to provide food both for children spending long periods in hospital and their families, despite the current situation.

Thank you to all of the users that have decided to support this initiative and contribute. It’s very important that we all try and make sure that vulnerable families aren’t affected by the health crisis, and can carry on with their lives, with the help offered by the Foundation continuing.
